The campaign was still running in April 1935, when the magazine answered a notice that a cookware seller had undertaken, under a United States Federal Trade Commission stipulation, to stop claiming that aluminium utensils cause cancer, by saying that it 'will not cease to warn those who are interested in their health that aluminum is injurious to the health in numerous and various ways. “The Golden Age does not care what kind of cooking utensils you use. It isn't even concerned if you insist upon using aluminum of any kind. That is your privilege and responsibility. But it will not cease to warn those who are interested in their health that aluminum is injurious to the health in numerous and various ways. There is no question about this whatever.”

An unsigned item under the standing head 'Poisoning Department'. It was written in answer to a notice in Scientific American that the United States Federal Trade Commission had obtained a stipulation from a cookware seller to stop claiming that aluminium utensils cause cancer; the Golden Age reproduces that notice and rejects it.
