A signed article by Herbert M. Shelton, an American natural hygienist and prolific anti-vaccination writer who was not a Bible Student. It opens with a newspaper report of a ten-year-old girl who died after a scarlet fever inoculation and argues that antitoxin 'is a mere hypothesis' that 'can not be demonstrated to actually exist'.
