Corrections log
If we get something wrong, we say so here, in public, with the date. An evidence resource that hides its corrections is not one you should trust.
If you are named on this site, or you are the family of someone named, you may ask us to remove or amend what is said about you. Write to [email protected]. We will reply, and we will remove a name wherever the point can be made without it. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to show that anything is inaccurate.

How corrections work
- Anyone can report an error. Reports that quote a claim or source ID are quickest to check.
- We re-open the cited source. If the wording, date, page or context is wrong, we fix the ledger and the page, and log it here.
- If a report is declined we log that too, with the reason, so that readers can judge for themselves.
- Where the organisation has published a response to something we document, we add it to the relevant claim as “the organisation’s position”.
